Welcome to the pictures Page

Over the coming months we will be featuring an assortment of different locomotives including Narrow gauge and Standard gauge live steam, Diesel and Battery electric as well as rolling stock. We shall also look at homemade points and signaling on the railway.

Spring is upon us once again and we are working flat out to get the railway up and running for the summer season. There is always plenty of work to do, like some welding.............

This is the 9 lb yard stuff on plastic sleepers.

Boiler failure at the club.

This boiler is from a 7 1/4" Gauge Romulus. You can just see the hole inside the firebox which put the fire out as it happened, we enlarged it with a screwdriver to see how thick the steel was at this point.
